3 User Conduct & Content

Tickrates allows users to post reviews, ratings, lists, and comments. You are solely responsible for any content you submit. By posting content on Tickrates, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content within the platform.

When using Tickrates, you agree not to:

• Post content that is hateful, abusive, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or discriminatory.
• Spam the platform with duplicate reviews, fake ratings, or unsolicited promotional content.
• Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise exploit the platform beyond normal use.

We reserve the right — but not the obligation — to review, edit, or remove any content that violates these terms or that we find objectionable, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

4 Third-Party Data & Trademarks

Game data, titles, artwork, cover images, and metadata displayed on Tickrates are sourced from the IGDB API (operated by Twitch Interactive, Inc.) and the Steam Web API (operated by Valve Corporation). All such content — including game names, logos, and imagery — remains the exclusive intellectual property of their respective rights holders.

Tickrates uses this data strictly for informational and non-commercial purposes, in accordance with the IGDB API Terms of Service and Steam API Terms of Use. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Twitch, Valve, or any game publisher or developer whose content appears on our platform.

Any game names, trademarks, service marks, or trade dress referenced on Tickrates are the property of their respective owners.

5 Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Tickrates is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, without warranties of any kind — either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
• The information or content provided is always accurate, complete, or up to date.
• Any defects or errors will be corrected.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tickrates Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or service interruption — arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms of Use or engaged in behaviour that is harmful to other users, third parties, or the integrity of the platform.

You may also delete your own account at any time via the Settings page. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
